Jennifer Tilly, born on 16 September 1958, at Los Angeles under extremely poor circumstances. Her mother, who was a failing schoolteacher and actor, made a living selling automobiles, while her father worked as an auto salesman. Jennifer, as the second child of four, frequently attended theater performances by her mother and was very delighted. Jennifer's parents split at the age five. Jennifer lived the majority of her childhood within British Columbia, after her mother moved there with her four children. Jennifer was, despite having been quite an artistic child but was hardly a knowledgeable person. The time she spent in Canadian schools led to her being often the target of bullying. In high school her passion for theater started to diminish. To combat her loss of interest, her mother encouraged to take part as an extra in several performances. The mother of her children encouraged the entire family to get involved in arts and crafts. Then she took immediate action.
